Thor, son of the king of the gods Odin is the most powerful god that exists within Scandinavian mythology. This phenomenal power comes from his hammer named Mjöllnir, allowing him to knock down mountains and unleash the skies to strike down his enemies. During Ragnarök, Thor fought the legendary giant serpent of Midgard Jormungand, one of his half-brother Loki's offspring. After a fierce fight, he managed to land a fatal blow with his hammer but succumbed to the bite of the snake.
