The Berserker is a Viking warrior who, when he fought, entered a state of sacred fury characterized by almost mystical. The Old Norse translation of sacred fury is Berserksgangr, meaning "allure of the wild-warrior". These warriors felt no pain and went into a state of murderous frenzy. They worshiped Odin and were inspired by the essence as well as the spirit of the great bears of Scandinavia known for their imposing physique, their power and their extreme ferocity.
