Einheri in Old Norse, this term means "those who constitute an army". When a mighty warrior died in battle, the Valkyries sent by Odin granted him access to Valhalla, residence of the king of the gods. Once there, they feasted and fought there every day. These powerful fighters then formed an army, called the Einherjar army, whose goal was to fight alongside the gods during Ragnarok.
