Thought and memory are the strength of the Viking
Contrary to popular myths, Vikings were tactical fighters. They knew how to use terrain, surprise and strategy to their advantage. This Hugin and Munin shield represents this wisdom of Viking combat. Indeed, the two crows are the eyes and ears of Odin. They represent respectively his memory and his thought.
